Ah, it's lovely when all of the fume hoods in the building decide to alarm. Even though it's a new building, we still have the old power grid/system or something? So in the summer when the temperature flucuates we get the Tunnel Effect. The hoods howling is pretty creepy. =/

Sarah's sick today, our last day, so uhhhhh, I'm just sitting here kinda writing up my report while waiting for noon to roll around so I can look at our last experiment. And then check the signal to noise ratio on our stuff. If it's too low, then this one experiment we want to do won't be happening ever. =(

Our lab has bigs windows that go out into the "lobby" I guess of the building, and two cleaning guys are outside, waxing the floor and whatnot. It's fine, but it's really uncomfortable when people walk by and stare at us for the duration of them being able to see us. We're just lab monkeys! Nothing special.

Movies seen recently: Bewitched, War of the Worlds, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. (Beware of spoilers!!) Bewitched was cute, but I wouldn't pay $10 to see it. (Our theater across the street is $6, I miss the $4 on base.) War of the Worlds... I really should've finished reading it before I saw it, but oh well. I have the book somewhere in storage. The music was very good, and Jeff thought Dakota (forgot her character name) was all whiney, but I <3 her. She did a good job. Yay for alleric to peanut butter. Robbie SERIOUSLY should've died. And so should've Dakota and Tom at several points. And at first I thought the birds decided to retaliate and be like, "Get off our planet, bitches!" and poop on them and that's what killed them. If I had read the book in the first place I probably wouldn't have thought of this. Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Very hot. And I totally loved the humor. It was slightly annoying that a camp decided to go at the same time I went, tho, but not enough to spoil the movie. It wasn't the usual maybe 20 people who aren't loud and annoying. Some girl said the guy who was the bait was hot. But he wasn't. Crackhead. But at least our little theater got some moolah. So yes. Very hot.

I have an mp3 player now! =D My sister and I both got Zen Micros in black. Only 5 gigs, but that's enough. Most of the stuff on my computer I skip through, anyway, but I don't have the heart to delete them unless I really hate them.

I'm currently hooked on this one fanfic where Ewan is actually in the SW universe. It's terribly funny. =D

I watched Life as a House yesterday. I was watching it for Hayden eye candy, but I actually really liked it. At one point I thought, this just keeps getting more and more fucked up. But hey, that's life. XD

Arr, I need to pack tonight. I'm leaving tomorrow for hoooooome, yay. I won't be getting another job, tho, 'cos I'm visiting Jeff in early August. But hopefully volunteering and stuff. And finishing my room. I have to finish painting it. I ended up liking the underpaint color better, so I might use the darker green as accents. But I don't know what to do... maybe bamboo silhouettes? Might be a bit much, hehe.

OH! We're going to get a kitty on Saturday! We got Tabby from my aunt's place (she has lots of stray kitties, although fewer now than years before), and now she wants us to take this black kitten with a white stripe down it's face that has 6 toes on each paw. My mum says it's ugly, but we'll see on Saturday. She really wants to get this one gray one, but it's not old enough yet.

*lunch break, did work*

Do be doooo. I still haven't finished Tale of Genji. I'm on page 912 of 1135. I guess I'll have to borrow it from the library at home to finish it.

Hmmm. I don't think I'll be double majoring. Too much of a hassle now. I'll just take chem courses that don't need calc or calc-based physics. XD Yay.

Movies I want to see: The Island, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Brothers Grimm, Madagascar, The Aristocrats, maybe Must Love Dogs. Laaa. It's almost 3. Maybe I should go find my advisor. XD She's actually teaching a week and 2 day long course for chemistry teachers. I must remember to write about the guest speaker Sarah and I saw on Monday.
