Soo um, yeah. I really doubt I'll be able to go back to daily/almost-daily updates any time soon. But anyway, a little update on the life of the panda.
Had two papers due before finals, and then four finals. Econ paper took a while to get done, but the art history paper was neat because it was a gallery proposal, since our prof was actually not a prof but a curator at the Boston MFA. We got to go in though the employee entrance when we visited, hehe. (But total 4-hour drive for 2 hours in the museum @_@ at least we got in free!) 4 exams: Japanese was okay, as was Art History of Edo/Tokyo. Econ went okay, too. Orgo... orgo kicked my ass hard. ;_; A B will make me happy in that class.
I got to see Krystal in The Secret Garden! It was very fun. There was a live orchestra, but due to the room, the orchestra overpowered the singers/actors most of the time. Oh well. It was still lots of fun.
Last Friday for my birthday my parents, Jeff, and I went to this Japanese Restaurant in Boston.. Fugakyu I think? The interior of the restaurant was very cool. I got the obligatory cucumber sushi and had a chicken teriyaki bento. We also had some interesting sushi... asparagus wrapped with beef strips in this sauce... soooo yummy. And for dessert the obligatory red bean ice cream, hooray!
Afterwards, my parents dropped Jeff and me off at the Museum of Science while they did errands and stuff. It's mostly aimed for younger kids, but for the 2 hours we were there it was fun. Must try to go to the butterfly thing, 'cos it was sold out when we were there. I got in free 'cos of my bank card, yay! Jeff's ticket was $14, but the lady stamped it for free admission within 6 months 'cos we got there 2 hours before closing time. XD
And Jeff went home and that was sad, but I'll see him soon.... hopefully I'll get to fly down and visit him before school starts. Sean lives really close to him, so we'll have a 3-person + online Victor LAN party.
Other than that.... allergies kill my nose when I'm lying down and I passed the written part of the EMT-B exam today by 6 points! Yes!
Oh, and I have a research internship with my orgo prof starting Monday. Yay for $3,000. =3
