Well, I've left Germany for good. (At least until I have enough money to go back around and travel to the countries I didn't get to visit, which means not any time soon.) My flight wasn't too bad. To Chicago I finished a small cross-stitch thing I had and managed to stay awake the whole time. I didn't pay much attention to Scooby-Doo 2, but Shattered Glass was okay. From Chicago to Hartford I pretty much slept the whole way, ha ha. Traveling alone was actually kinda nice the first time I did it, but now it's boring with no one else to talk to. :( Oh well.
My plans for the summer are as follows:
July - Calculus at Yale starts on the 5th. >_< Hope I don't die.
August - Jeff comes back to the states. YAY! Family moves to Boston, maybe? The orders haven't arrived yet, so I dunno when they'll get there. Hopefully I'll be taking drivers ed somewhere, probably here in CT (I'm at my uncle's... yay).
September - Skool starts, yay. English and organic chem will probably take up most of my time.
Soooooooo. Germany. I actually didn't go to skool as much as I did during Christmas break... mostly because I don't know anyone at the school except for my computer peeps and teachers. I will probably always dislike high school administration, to include stupid secretaries. But moving along, I saw Jeff mostly every other day, and our group had a couple of parties, but it was really hard to get everyone together. Bowling last Tuesday was just Jeff, Wayne, and me. Pornboy had a movie party I think the Saturday before, and most everyone was there... a couple people were missing. And last Friday was swimming (just Tom, Sean, Victor, Jeff, and me) and a LAN party, and Jeff was trying really hard to get his other computer working for me so I had a computer, but it didn't work out and he forgot to bring my memory card for Wind Waker... so I didn't really do much. Just watched Chocolat and started to go to sleep because Down Periscope wasn't really catching my attention. Didn't get to stay the night, but oh well. Actually, everyone was at the LAN party except for Anthony who was in another country and Wayne who didn't want to come, I guess. Kinda sad tho, that was probably the last LAN party with most everyone being there, since Jeff and I will be in MA, Wayne in ID, Pornboy in NY, Jess in FL, Anthony, Belinda, and Tom probably still in Germany, Victor um I dunno, and Sean in TX. Unless we do it online, but bleh, that's not as fun.
There was this small thing that Victor doesn't really like Wayne. Tom just blew it up out of proportion telling Wayne over and over, so Wayne never really went to any of the get-togethers, feeling not welcome, when in fact, he was. Argh, all of this was total bullshit because if Victor REALLY had a problem with Wayne, he would've gotten in Wayne's face about it, but he never had, so Victor can tolerate Wayne. I talked with Victor about this, too. Oh well. All I can say is, Tom, that was really stupid of you. And Wayne, you could've just ignored Tom. And too late now, but maybe I should've made you and Victor talk or something to clear it up. So I never really got to hang out with Wayne all that much. Wayne, you can come visit me whenever you like. And that goes with anyone else. I will always save a sleeping bag for you. ;D
But yeah, one thing that rather annoyed me was the sudden deletion of SMARTmASSES without any notice whatsoever. I probably would've been fine with prior notice, which would've been nice, since I was a co-developer of the idea, but I didn't get any. I hadn't been posting on SM because of the stupid German ISDN I had at home... so I only went on the computer when I really had to, just checking my email every couple of days. Oh well. It's gone. I don't care anymore. I'll just have to email everyone once in a while, to keep up to date with them. And I need to contact Amanda, Jennifer, and Holly to see how many emails of our class we can get for a possible reunion down the road.
Wooo, I caught up a bit on most of the webcomics that I read. Our computer at home was being gay 'cos the computer guy reinstalled Win 98 (I wasn't there yet so I couldn't really do it) and he screwed up so the resolution was only 600x800 and 16 colors, so it made everything look pretty messed up.
